This guide will help you learn very quickly how to do it in LegacyOS. The recommend place to start customizing you Desktop is with the Icewm Theme. This theme changes the look of the Main Menu and Task Bar at the bottom of your screen.In the Main Menu Click Settings > Themes > LegacyOS-Theme To change your Wallpaper, icons, cursor and GTK Theme (Widget) in Main Menu Click Control Centre.Under “Desktop” you will see a number of choices Click “Choose Wallpaper” and “Customize Look and Feel” To change your Wallpaper click “Select Picture”. Now click on each Wallpaper to see a preview and click “Open” when you’ve highlighted the Wallpaper you want to use. Click “Apply” to change your Wallpaper. Don’t like the Wallpapers included or want to use Family photos or wallpapers downloaded online. Click “Options” > “Default Folder” and Navigate in the folder containing the images you want to use.Tip: Under “Static” you can set your wallpapers to change randomly at intervals you choose. Customize Look and Feel “Widget” (GTK) changes the theme for the Title Bar and the Application itself. Click “Apply” for chances to take effect. Note: While most Applications use this Widget, those which run as Administrator (Need Password) will always appear with a white and blue theme to indicate they are running as Administrator. “Icon Theme” is where a user can choose what icon set to use. Click “Apply” for chances to take effect. ROX File Manager sets its icon set from within the application itself. See below on how to do this. “Mouse Cursor” is where a user can choose what Mouse Cursor to use. Once you’ve decided what Mouse Cursor to use click “Apply” for chances to take effect. Note: You may need to “Restart Icewm” to see a cursor change. In Main Menu hover over “Logout” and move your mouse to the right over the right arrow and select “Restart Icewm”. Open the ROX File Manager and right mouse in an empty space to open the choices box and click “Options”. Click on “Types” to see the Icon Theme option. Click on Icon Theme to show available icon themes and select the theme you want to use. Once selected click “OK”. Note: The ROX File Manager also lists some Cursor themes as an icon option?
